Seawater Desalination / RO Systems / Containerized RO
Techno Aid Inc designs and commissions high-pressure Reverse Osmosis systems for seawater desalination and brackish water treatment. Our SWRO (Seawater Reverse Osmosis) plants are engineered to handle TDS levels up to 45,000 ppm and deliver potable or process-grade water with TDS below 500 ppm.
We offer systems in containerized, skid-mounted, and conventional plant formats to suit remote coastal locations, offshore platforms, and industrial facilities. Energy Recovery Devices (ERD) are integrated in larger systems to significantly reduce power consumption and operational costs.

Industries & Applications
How It Works
Seawater is pre-filtered through multimedia and cartridge filters to remove particulates. Antiscalant and other chemicals are dosed to prevent membrane fouling. High-pressure pumps (50–80 bar) force the feed water through spiral-wound seawater RO membranes, where salt and dissolved solids are rejected. The energy recovery device captures pressure from the concentrate stream, dramatically reducing power consumption. Permeate (product water) passes through post-treatment (remineralisation or pH correction) before delivery.
