Industrial Demineralization Plants (DM Plants)
Techno Aid Inc manufactures and installs Two-Bed and Multi-Bed Demineralization (DM) Plants that produce high-purity demineralized water by removing dissolved salts, minerals, and ions using strong acid cation (SAC) and strong base anion (SBA) exchange resins. DM water is essential for boilers, pharmaceuticals, power generation, and chemical process industries.
We offer both manual-regeneration and fully automated DM plants with digital conductivity monitoring. Our systems are manufactured in FRP, MS (rubber-lined), and SS vessels depending on the water chemistry and application requirements. Degasser towers are provided between beds for CO₂ removal, improving anion exchanger efficiency and reducing chemical consumption.

Industries & Applications
How It Works
Feed water enters the Strong Acid Cation (SAC) column. All cations (Ca²⁺, Mg²⁺, Na⁺, K⁺) are exchanged for H⁺ ions, converting all salts to their respective acids. The acidic effluent passes through the degasser tower where dissolved CO₂ is stripped out by air. The degassed water enters the Strong Base Anion (SBA) column where all anions (Cl⁻, SO₄²⁻, HCO₃⁻, SiO₂) are exchanged for OH⁻ ions. H⁺ and OH⁻ combine to form pure water. Conductivity monitoring detects resin exhaustion and triggers automatic regeneration.
